When using the 60 degree angle to stitch between 2 lines, this quilting tool makes it easy to find the center by lining up the same number (like the number 3) on both sides of the 60 degree angle, and the number 3 on 120 degree angle. Gives you 3 points of reference making it easy to find and stitch to the center. The opposite side of the quilting ruler is marked like a ruler for convenience in finding where to start the next diamond.
