505 Temporary Fabric Adhesive - Longarm Quilting Supplies

Used to temporarily attach paper, cotton batting, or other non-woven material to fabric.  

  1. You spray the piece to be attached to the other piece, and press them together while the adhesive is still tacky.
  2. Then you can pull it apart when you are done and any glue left on the pieces will wash off.  (Whereas with the 404 Permanent Adhesive, the glue will stay on the piece you initially sprayed and remain tacky.) 

505 Adhesive Features

Examples of Uses:

Quilt:

  1. Always spray the 505 on the cotton Batting.
  2. Overturn and apply batting to the fabric while the adhesive is still tacky.

Embroidery:

  1. Spray on the non-woven material.
  2. Stick it to the cloth or fabric while the adhesive is still tacky.
  3. When the embroidery has been made, remove the cloth.

Craft:

Gluing Fabric to Fabric:

  1. Always spray 505 on the back of the fabric to be glued.

Sticking from fabric to paper:

  1. Spray 505 on the back of the picture
  2. Glue the picture to the fabric while the adhesive is still tacky.
  3. Cut out the desired shape.
  4. Separate the fabric from the paper.
