Fun with Shapes Volume 1

The Fun with Shapes concept is basically a 'mix and match' process. You choose a motif style from the Idea Section, mix it with a template shape and create a design like those in the design section.

This series is meant to explore the possibilities of freehand quilting designs that have a more uniform and traditional look through the use of a few simple tools. It is hoped that this will help you achieve results that combine that freehand speed and artistry with a uniformity gained with the use of accurate 'Base' lines from the template shapes.
