Although this book is a cookbook, not a quilt book, I have added it to our inventory and it is very popular. Like myself, it seems many quilters also love to cook. My cookbook collection is second only to my quilt book collection, and I love every one of them. But, this cookbook is truly one of my favorites. It is great to own and use, or give as a gift. Plus, I love the story surrounding it. The author grew up on a farm in eastern Washington and the book is filled with stories of farm life, and the photography is spectacular. Also, the author's granddaughter did all the photography, which I'm sure was a special project for them to share. Being a farm girl myself, this entire book holds a special place in my heart. Not to mention, the recipes within the book are a great collection for anyone to enjoy, (cooking or eating them). Even if you don't cook - this is a great "coffee table" book -- it is just so pretty to look at and interesting to read!
